What is a Big Bang?A Big Bang is a challenge where a writer and artist collaborate together to create a fic and an accompanying art piece. Writers anonymously submit a summary of the fic they are wishing to write, and artists choose which summary they are interested in drawing. The process allows artists and writers to work together to create their pieces.The Vashwood Big Bang Mods put together an overview of Big Bang history.RULESThis is an 18+ event. Participants must be over the age of 18 at the time of sign-ups to take part.All participants are expected to follow basic rules of conduct, which include no harassment towards other participants or the moderators for any reason whatsoever across any social media platforms. Violating this will result in removal from the event and event Discord.

GENERAL+ Please do not discuss or share any WIPs of your Big Bang pieces outside of the Discord server. There will be a designated week ahead of posting for sharing WIPs/Previews of Big Bang pieces.
+ The matching process is done via the Big Bang Matcher script.
+ There will be a way to submit proposals as established teams.WRITERS+ Word Count Minimum: 10,000 words (no maximum).
+ The work must be completely new, unpublished, and not shared publicly before the event.
+ Writers will have a first check-in to submit fic summaries and additional information that will then be shared anonymously with Artists and Betas as part of the Artist & Beta Summary Review/Selection process.ARTISTS+ Artists will create at least one full finished piece of art based on their partnered writer's fic (no limit, artists may create more than one piece if they want).
+ The work must be completely new, unpublished, and not shared publicly before the event.
+ Any style may be used for the event, which includes both traditional and digital as well as comics.
+ During the Artist & Beta Summary Review/Selection, artists will submit a ranked list of fics they are interested in working with that will then be used to match artist/writer pairings.BETAS+ Betas will sign-up either as General or Specific Beta.
+ General Betas will not be assigned to a specific fic and be available on the Discord server if writers need assistance during the creation process.
+ Specific Betas will be assigned to a specific fic and writer based on the Artist & Beta Summary Review/Selection process.
